About

I’m a web designer from Dublin, Ireland. I have been designing websites since 2002, using standards based XHTML and CSS.

XHTML and CSS are my main areas of expertise, while I also have experience in PHP, Flash, Javascript, MySQL, XML, Search Engine Optimisation, Usability, Content Management and Accessibility.

From this site you can view a selection of some of the websites that I have worked on independently, or read my articles on web design, which include resources, techniques and tips that I consider useful. In effect, this website serves as an online journal for my thoughts on many aspects of web design, in particular Accessibility, CSS, XHTML and PHP.

I'm currently working as a web designer for web design agency Denobi, based in Lucan, Dublin. Prior to this I graduated from Dublin City University with a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology in 2007, which followed my studies in the National University of Ireland, Maynooth, where I obtained a degree in Finance with Computer Science (a career path which I subsequently declined , obviously.)

Web design is my main interest, although I also have a keen interest in music, football (soccer) and quasar, which I try to make time for as frequently as possible.
